How much should I expect to spend on a DJ?
Costs can vary from $200 + a six-pack all the way up to more outrageous fees of up to $1,500 for 4
hours of music! However, as many surveys reveal, cost does not necessarily correlate to high quality
service. At DJ Guy, we have a complete package, including Free Transportation, Free Lightshow,
Cordless mike, Tuxedoed DJ and Personal Consultations, all for one price, the way it should be.
How far in advance should I hire the DJ?
Bridal magazines usually recommend 6 months out from your wedding date to hire the DJ, but this is
not the case if your date is on a Saturday during peak wedding season (May-Oct). If your wedding
is a peak season Saturday, you will need to hire a DJ up to 18 months in advance, since the best DJ's
usually book up quickly on these limited days.
